Welcome to Book Community Centre ("BCC", "BCC Platform"). The BCC Platform is a product of Sandron Infotec Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Ireland (Company No. 797329), with its registered address at C4, Swords Enterprise Park, Feltrim Road, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 HC44, Ireland.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BCC Platform, including our website at bookcommunitycentre.ie and all related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account on the BCC Platform. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 16 or older. This is in accordance with the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, which sets Ireland's digital age of consent at 16.
Children under 16 may attend events or use facilities at community centres, but account registration and bookings must be made by a parent, guardian, or an individual aged 16 or over.
To use certain features of the Services (such as making bookings or managing a centre), you must register for an account. You agree to:
If you create an account or accept these Terms on behalf of a company, community centre, organisation, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "your" shall refer to both you as an individual and the entity you represent.
The BCC Platform is an online marketplace that connects Members with Community Centres. We provide the technology platform that enables:
Important: BCC acts solely as a platform and intermediary. We are not the owner, operator, or manager of any community centre or facility listed on the platform. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, suitability, or availability of any facility.
When you make a booking through BCC:
When you book a facility through the BCC Platform:
Each Community Centre sets its own cancellation policy for bookings at their facilities. The applicable cancellation policy will be displayed to you before you confirm your booking. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding the cancellation terms before completing your booking.

BCC will process refunds in accordance with the applicable centre's cancellation policy.

Each Community Centre determines its own booking rules, including but not limited to:
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the booking rules of each facility.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a licensed payment institution regulated under the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2). By making a payment through the BCC Platform, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We do not store your full credit card or bank account details. All payment card information is handled directly by Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS Level 1 standards. BCC does not hold, possess, or have direct control over customer funds at any point — all funds are held by Stripe in regulated client money accounts.
Booking payments are processed through Stripe Connect. Each Community Centre maintains its own Stripe Express account. When you make a booking payment, funds are received and held by Stripe (not BCC) and paid out to the Community Centre's connected bank account in accordance with the applicable payout schedule. BCC's commission is deducted by Stripe before the payout reaches the centre.
If a payment fails, your booking will not be confirmed. We may notify you and give you the opportunity to retry with a different payment method. BCC is not responsible for any charges imposed by your bank or card issuer (e.g., insufficient funds fees).
Platform-related payment issues: BCC is responsible for resolving payment issues that arise from the platform's payment processing, including:
If you experience any payment processing issue, contact us at info@bookcommunitycentre.ie and we will investigate and resolve the matter promptly.
Chargebacks: If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer (a "chargeback"), we may provide your booking details and transaction information to your payment provider as evidence of the legitimate transaction. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension.
Facility-related payment disputes: Disputes relating to the quality, suitability, or availability of a facility, or disagreements about a centre's cancellation or refund policy, are between you and the Community Centre. BCC may assist in facilitating communication but is not obligated to mediate or arbitrate such disputes. Each user and Community Centre acknowledges that BCC acts as a technology intermediary and releases BCC from liability in respect of facility-related payment disputes.
